Services

  • Formula Feeding Consultation

Do you think your baby’s formula might not be the best fit for your baby’s tummy? Are you needing to switch from breastfeeding to formula feeding and need a crash-course in how to do it safely? Did you just adopt a baby or receive a foster-care placement and have never fed a baby before? I can come to you and work alongside you to gain confidence in feeding your baby.

Most questions can be answered in one of our classes, but sometimes families have to make a change immediately, and there isn’t time to take a class. I am available for in-home or virtual consultation during these challenging parenthood moments.

  • Infant Feeding Education

Learn about ALL the modalities of infant feeding so you can feel confident feeding your baby no matter what twists and turns newborn life brings!

Offerings include our “Prepared for Anything” course which covers breastfeeding, pumping, and formula feeding basics, as well as our “Exclusive Formula Feeding” course specifically for families who come to exclusive formula feeding by preference or necessity (medical indication, adoption/foster care, etc).

  • Postpartum Planning

Labor and birth can often be the star of the show in the birth-world. But just as much attention (if not more!) should given to planning the days and weeks after welcoming your baby to your family.

Becoming a parent is a form of culture-shock. Discussing plans and expectations with your partner or other support network can help smooth out some of the bumps along the journey. As Brené Brown says, “Disappointment is unmet expectations.” So let’s discuss your expectations for these vulnerable early postpartum days so that joy has the opportunity to be present in your experience.

“Anne played a huge part in our transition to parenthood. Leading up to, and after our son was born, Anne’s vast knowledge of local resources, coupled with her past experiences as a mother herself helped our first steps into parenthood not feel overwhelming. With so many resources out there for parents leading up to a birth, it is equally important to be equipped with knowledge and resources post-birth, and we’re so grateful to have Anne support us in a multitude of ways!”
